Annual community rabies vaccination drives organised by the Department of Livestock Development (DLD) Chiang Mai Province, in line with the national Rabies Control Act B.E. 2535 (1992). Also includes public education on responsible pet ownership and the TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program for stray population management. Important: Thailand is NOT rabies-free — annual vaccination is legally required and critically important for all dogs. These events are an important community resource for responsible pet owners.
