Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using the PawHub website at ourpetcircle.com (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please stop using the Site immediately.

PawHub is operated by PawHub Pte Ltd, a company incorporated in Singapore (“we”, “us” or “our”). These Terms form a binding contract between you and PawHub Pte Ltd.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email and post a revised “last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Use of the service

PawHub provides pet-care news, vet-reviewed health and care guides, breed information, a per-city services directory, a first-party pet shop, and the Pet Passport digital health record. You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes subject to these Terms.

You agree not to:

  • Copy, reproduce, republish, scrape or redistribute our proprietary content without written permission.
  • Use automated tools (bots, crawlers, scrapers) to extract content at a volume or frequency that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure, or for the purpose of training AI models.
  • Attempt to circumvent any security or access controls.
  • Post, transmit or distribute unlawful, defamatory, harassing, obscene or spam content.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Use the Site in any way that violates Singapore law, Australian law, New Zealand law, Philippine law, Spanish law or the laws of your own jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Site for any user who breaches these Terms, without notice and without liability.

3. Intellectual property

All content on this Site — including text, health and care articles, reviews, graphics, logos, design, code and data compilations — is owned by or licensed to PawHub Pte Ltd and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.

Nothing on this Site grants you any licence or right to use PawHub’s trademarks, service marks or logos without our prior written consent. You may share links to our content and quote brief excerpts for commentary or news reporting purposes, provided you attribute PawHub and link to the original source.

Where we embed or link to third-party content (images, videos, data), intellectual property in that content remains with its respective owner. See Section 5 for details.

4. User content and conduct

Where the Site allows you to submit content (such as reviews, comments or community posts), you retain ownership of your content. By submitting content, you grant PawHub Pte Ltd a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to display, reproduce and distribute that content on the Site and in our communications.

You warrant that any content you submit:

  • Is accurate and not misleading.
  • Does not infringe any third party’s intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
  • Does not contain unlawful, offensive or harmful material.

We may remove user-submitted content at our discretion without notice. We are not obligated to pre-screen submissions but reserve the right to do so.

5. Third-party links and services

The Site contains links to third-party websites and embedded third-party content (including YouTube videos and externally hosted images). These links are provided for convenience; we do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices or accuracy of any third-party site.

Your interaction with third-party services — including clicking out to news sources, watching embedded video, or accessing linked insurance or telehealth providers — is governed by those third parties’ own terms and privacy policies. We encourage you to read them.

6. Services directory — important notice

PawHub aggregates information about third-party service providers (including vets, groomers, boarding facilities, dog walkers, pet sitters, trainers and pet-taxi operators) into a per-city directory. By using the services directory, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • PawHub is not the provider of veterinary, grooming, boarding or any other pet services. Listed providers are independent third parties. PawHub Pte Ltd is not a party to any agreement you enter into with a listed provider.
  • Directory listings are aggregated from multiple sources (native listings, partner APIs, public data and manual submissions). While we make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and up to date, we do not warrant that listing information (including hours, prices, contact details or services offered) is current or complete. Always verify critical information — especially for emergency services — directly with the provider before relying on it.
  • PawHub does not carry out background checks, verify professional licences, or vet the quality of listed providers. It is your responsibility to satisfy yourself that a provider is appropriately qualified, licensed and suitable before engaging them.
  • Enquiries submitted via the directory are forwarded to the relevant provider. PawHub is not responsible for the provider’s response time, availability or the outcome of any services provided.
  • Reviews of listed providers are submitted by users and represent their personal opinions. PawHub does not endorse or verify reviews. We may remove reviews that breach our community standards.

7. Pet shop — commerce terms

The PawHub pet shop allows you to purchase pet food, health products, accessories and related items directly from PawHub Pte Ltd. By placing an order you agree to the following:

  • Pricing: All prices are shown in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise stated. Prices include applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) where required.
  • Payment: We accept payment via Stripe (credit/debit card) and PayNow. Payment is processed at the time of order. We do not store your card details — all payment processing is handled by Stripe Inc. under their own PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure.
  • Order confirmation: An email confirmation does not constitute our acceptance of your order; we may cancel orders at any time before dispatch if a product is out of stock or if pricing errors occur, in which case we will provide a full refund.
  • Delivery: We aim to dispatch within 1–2 business days. Estimated delivery is 3–5 business days within Singapore and 7–14 business days to Australia. These are estimates, not guarantees.
  • Subscriptions / auto-ship: Subscription orders renew automatically on the cadence you select. You may pause, change the cadence or cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellations made before the next scheduled processing date will take effect for the following cycle.
  • Returns and refunds: You may return an unopened product within 14 days of receipt for a full refund. Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item is defective or we made an error. Defective items will be replaced or refunded at our cost. Please contact hello@ourpetcircle.com to initiate a return.
  • Consumer rights: Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under the Singapore Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act or, for Australian customers, the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010).

8. Pet Passport — health record tool

The Pet Passport is a digital health record tool that allows you to log your pet’s vaccinations, medications, vet visits, weight history and other health information. By using the Pet Passport you acknowledge that:

  • The Pet Passport is a personal record-keeping tool only. It does not constitute veterinary advice or a certified medical record recognised by any veterinary regulatory body.
  • The accuracy of records in your Pet Passport is your responsibility. PawHub does not verify the accuracy of data you enter.
  • Reminders generated by the Pet Passport (for vaccinations, medications or treatments) are provided for convenience only. You are responsible for verifying due dates with your veterinarian.
  • Pet health data is treated as sensitive personal data under our Privacy Policy (Section 1A). You may export or delete your Pet Passport data at any time.

9. Health content and medical disclaimer

Content on PawHub — including news articles, health guides, care articles and breed information — is for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis or treatment. Read our full Medical Disclaimer.

If your pet is unwell, injured or you have any concern about their health, please consult a qualified veterinarian promptly. In an emergency, contact your nearest 24-hour emergency veterinary clinic without delay.

10. General disclaimers

The Site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free from viruses.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PawHub Pte Ltd and its officers, employees and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under or in connection with these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to PawHub in the three months preceding the claim, or SGD 100, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts in respect of any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Site.

For consumers in Australia, nothing in this clause limits your rights under applicable Australian consumer protection legislation.

13. Dispute resolution

If you have a complaint or dispute with us, please contact us first at legal@ourpetcircle.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days and try to resolve it within 30 days. If we cannot reach a resolution, either party may refer the dispute to mediation administered by the Singapore Mediation Centre before commencing court proceedings.

14. Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Non-material changes (such as clarifications or corrections) take effect immediately on posting. Archived versions of these Terms are available on request.
